DeepSkill was able to convince companies with its innovative solutions and perspectives for the automotive industry at the event KMUp – Mittelstand meets Start-ups in November.
The TrendAuto2030plus event on November 15, 2023 brought together numerous companies and start-ups in and around the automotive and supplier industries for creative discussions, networking and mutual learning. Laura Kottwitz and Marco Scharpenack from our People Development Team were present for DeepSkill at the Innovation Hub in Gummersbach – along with another 80 participants from business, business development and science.
In speed dating, networking and exchangerounds, topics related to production and business models, circular economy, organisation and qualification, artificial intelligence and automation were discussed.
HR Solutions Are In Demand Like Never Before
Long-term strategies and sustainable investments point SMEs to a promising future – particularly important when the pressure for transformation increases. The fresh perspective of an upcoming startup can provide expanded perspectives and point to innovative solutions.
Our People Development Manager Laura Kottwitz gave a presentation on the topic Shaping the Future: Employee Motivation and Mindset Transformation in the Automotive Industry. She was given the opportunity to present the topic as an expert in two workshop rounds and to answer questions in a Q&A in the afternoon.
The world of work is also changing in the automotive industry: relationships, demands and expectations towards and from managers and employees are changing. Laura Kottwitz showed how the relevance of emotional intelligence is growing at a record pace in transformative upheavals. One problem: when change is imminent, people often fall into a kind of shock rigidity, in which they do not knowhow to deal with the situation. To prevent this from happening in the first place, employees need a consistent, strong leadership culture that motivates them, values them and guides them along the path of this transformation marked by stress tests and uncertainty. Factors such as empathy, openness, a culture of failure and willingness to learn are decisive here.
At DeepSkill, we train these and other emotional intelligence skills in companies through tailor-made coaching and training programs. We respond to industry and company specific challenges, needs and target groups and offer a comprehensive service package including program management and the execution of the learning program via our digital learning platform, the GrowthHub.
